ISACA ACCRA CHAPTER PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CSA DIRECTOR-GENERAL
A delegation from ISACA, led by the Accra Chapter President, Mr. Solomon Ackom, has paid a courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Mr. Divine Selase Agbeti, to congratulate him on his recent appointment.
The visit also served as an opportunity to strengthen the longstanding collaboration between the two organisations. The ISACA leadership expressed strong confidence in Mr. Agbeti's capacity to lead and drive forward Ghana’s cybersecurity agenda.
Mr. Carl Sackey, a member of the delegation and former member of the CSA Governing Board, shared ISACA’s commitment to supporting the operationalisation of the Industry Forum, an initiative designed to serve as a platform for engaging cybersecurity industry stakeholders across the country.
He also highlighted ongoing ISACA activities, including educational campaigns in tertiary institutions, and appealed to the CSA to partner with the chapter in these efforts to nurture the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
During the visit, the delegation extended an invitation to Mr. Agbeti to serve as the guest of honour at the upcoming 5th ISACA Accra IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Conference, scheduled to take place in Kumasi from June 19-20, 2025.
In his response, Mr. Agbeti expressed appreciation for the visit and commended ISACA for its role in promoting cybersecurity education and awareness. He reiterated his vision to position Ghana as a cybersecurity hub in Africa and called on ISACA to partner with the CSA in advancing national awareness and capacity-building initiatives.
