The Cyber Security Authority has organised the National Cybersecurity Challenge (NCC) annually since 2022, as part of efforts to sustain awareness and promote cybersecurity among children. The event brings together students from selected Senior High Schools to compete in cybersecurity quizzes and problem-solving exercises, and to demonstrate practical knowledge on online safety topics.

The 2024 edition of the NCC under the theme: "Empowering Young Minds, Creating Opportunities, Promoting a Safer Digital Ghana", will witness the participation of seventy Senior High Schools from across the sixteen regions of the country with each region fielding its best candidates, displaying the nation's wealth of emerging young talents and commitment to digital safety.

The winners of the regional events will progress to the finals through four zonal competitions: the Northern, Middle, Eastern, and Southern zones, with the most exciting moment arriving when the champions from each zone gather for the national championship contest later in the year.
